Tiny Adventures day nursery operates a healthy eating policy and endeavour to ensure that the children receive a balanced diet while in our care. Fresh foods are used to prepare the meals for the children wherever possible. Salt is never added to the cooking and we operate a low sugar policy.
We are proud to hold the highest 5* rating awarded by the environmental health officers for both our nurseries.
Tiny Adventures follow the Oral Health guidelines, because of this we do not encourage the children to eat sweets and chocolate and do not offer juice. Individual needs are catered for, including dietary requirements, religious and cultural beliefs, allergies and parents wishes.

At Tiny Adventures we recognise that the children need to settle in. Not only that, in our experience the parents need to get used to the new changes too. We offer a FREE home visit where two members of staff will visit your home to help everyone get to know each other. This is followed up by 2 settling in visits at the nursery. All FREE of charge.
The welfare of your children is always foremost in our minds. We have a team of professionals who are passionate and enthusiastic about their jobs. They will ensure that the children are kept safe, secure and are supervised at all times. Our staff are friendly and approachable. A majority of our staff are trained paediatric first aid.
We are very excited to announce that a forest school has been launched at our Lyme Green site. We are going on our very own bear hunt. Seep in the secret woods a tiny magical adventure is waiting to be discovered.
Your children will experience exiting outdoor adventures, nature trails, bush craft, campfire stories. Forest School will inspire your children to discover and learn with experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees.
Did you know that as well as learning about nature, children who play outside develop better language skills, are fitter, and have fewer behavioural problems? Whatever the weather! - Whatever you can do inside you can do outside! Both our nurseries have large outdoor spaces. Learning Zone has a large woodland garden and its very own maze. We have parks near by so go on lots of walks. Lyme Green’s garden is big. There is grass, earth, sand, water, trees, fruit, hideaways, hills, paths and a Wendy house. Children can ride, run, climb, walk, hide, play, shout, sing, sit, read, whatever they want to do, whatever the weather. As long as clothing is appropriate, and we supply that, the children can be outside enjoying all the activities.
We have a number of activities for the children to take part in at our day nursery. We are a Jacappella music centre so you can let your child discover the world of music, rhythm and time.

Our staff have an excellent understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum ensuring all children develop through play and grow into confident little people. You can also track this via our Parent Zone app mentioned above.
Fizzytotz is an exciting physical activityprogramme specifically designed for early years children that is non sport specific and works with a weekly educational theme that compliments the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines.
